“A garden is a delight to the eye and a solace for the soul.”

So we’re delighted to announce that Moon Gate Villa features in the 2015 Kerikeri Garden Safari.

Celebrated since 1987, the safari raises funds for local youth support work and is a major event in the Bay of Islands calendar, with people traveling from far and wide to view Kerikeri’s beautiful sub-tropical gardens.

Moon Gate’s gardens have featured in several ‘safaris’ in the 1990s, as a study of establishing new landscaped gardens, inspired by noted author Robyn Donald. It’s been quite a while between drinks and we think visitors will be astonished by the maturity of our gardens, and hopefully impressed by our latest changes. This year features 18 gardens in Kerikeri surrounds, with Moon Gate #1 on the visitor list.
